Open Access Policy at Discimus Journal

Discimus Journal is committed to promoting the free circulation of scientific and academic knowledge while ensuring proper recognition for our authors and respecting the ethical principles of scientific publication. To achieve this goal, Discimus publishes all its articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

What does this mean for authors, readers, and the scientific community?

CC (Creative Commons): Indicates that the work is under a Creative Commons license, which means it can be shared and reused under specific conditions.

BY (Attribution): Anyone using the work must give appropriate credit to the author, provide a link to the license, and indicate if any changes were made.

NC (Non-Commercial): The work cannot be used for commercial purposes. Any use must be non-profit.

SA (Share-Alike): If the material is remixed, transformed, or built upon, it must be distributed under the same license as the original.

  1. Freedom of Use: Under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, anyone can share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) the articles published in Discimus.
  2. Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made to the original work. This credit must include the citation of the author, the article title, the publication in Discimus, and, if possible, the DOI of the article. This attribution should not imply any endorsement by the authors or Discimus of the use of the work.
  3. Share-Alike: If users remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same license as the original.

Discimus Copyright Policy
When submitting works to Discimus, authors retain their copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, licensed simultaneously under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, which allows others to share the work while respecting the authorship and initial publication in this journal.
Authors are encouraged to publish and distribute their work online (for example, in institutional repositories or on their personal websites) at any point before and during the submission process, as this can lead to productive exchanges and increased citation of the published work.

Discimus Journal proudly adopts an Open Access philosophy for its academic production. We are committed to ensuring that all of our content is immediately and freely available upon online release. We firmly believe in the universal right to access the knowledge resulting from research.
