The Teacher’s Role as a Researcher
Main Article Content
Abstract
Classroom research is conducted throughout the forty weeks of the academic calendar, that is, within the school setting. This does not mean that, during the remaining days of the year, there is no reflection on the phenomena and tensions that take place within the classroom. The teaching profession, shaped by innovation and effective responses to the various problems the world currently faces, makes this role indispensable. Teaching is not the same as merely keeping students occupied; for this reason, through a variety of strategies, it has sought to transform society.
